Talk about feeling like you’re back in time… a poma lift is both hilarious (watching me try to take one that is) and quite an experience. Way better than the t-bar lift though. :)

Is that unusual in the US? We have a lot of those in France, it’s usually the first thing you have to master as a new skier. It can be tough, especially if you snowboard :)

Possibly not unusual at smaller resorts, but I grew up in Utah where the resorts are bigger and there are chair lifts all over the mountains.
